Basant Panchmi is a festival.
On this festival we do Saraswati puja, to get the blessings from the goddess Saraswati. Goddess Saraswati is the goddess of intelligence, knowledge, education, harmony, art, and speech.
To mark the festival the young Scholars of the school were dressed in yellow clothes, brought yellow food and yellow things.
This festival also marks the beginning of Spring Season.
The children were told the importance of the festival.
