Scholars Public School, Rajpura, celebrated the 80th Independence Day with great patriotic fervour and enthusiasm through a special morning assembly organised by the Red House on 14th August 2026.
The special assembly began with a solemn prayer, followed by an inspiring speech highlighting the significance of Independence Day and the sacrifices of our freedom fighters. Students presented a beautiful patriotic poem, melodious patriotic songs and vibrant dance performances, creating an atmosphere filled with national pride and enthusiasm.
The performances beautifully reflected the spirit of patriotism, unity and love for the nation. The confident participation of the students and the dedicated efforts of the Red House made the celebration meaningful and memorable.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Mrs Bharti appreciated the efforts of the Red House and congratulated the students for their wonderful performances. She encouraged the students to value the freedom of the nation and fulfil their responsibilities as disciplined, responsible and compassionate citizens.
The celebration concluded with a renewed sense of pride in the nation and a collective pledge to uphold the values of unity, integrity, peace and progress.
To mark the occasion Principal Mrs Bharti further added that
"Independence is not merely a celebration of our past; it is a responsibility to build a stronger, united and progressive India through our actions and values."
